Bioclimatology

The microclimate of an area affects the thermal comfort sensation of the inhabitants. In order to estimate what effect a design will have on the thermal comfort of people using the particular landscape, the components of the microclimate, i.e. solar radiation, wind, air temperature and precipitation are analyzed and the general characteristics of the urban climate are presented.
