Teaching Staff

Thirty tutors of the AUTh roughly divided between the Schools of Architecture and Agriculture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, are teaching at the Postgraduate Course in Landscape Architecture as well as ten more external and invited tutors.

Administration

The Joint Programme of Postgraduate Studies in Landscape Architecture is administrated by the School of Architecture, Faculty of Technology and over time is as follows:

It is run by the Coordinating Committee (CC) and the Special Joint Committee (SJC)

Co-ordinating Committee

The Coordinating Committee is appointed by the SJC of the Programme and it consists of 3 members from the Scientific Teaching Personnel of each School, who have been engaged in teaching or in the supervision of dissertations. Head of the CC is the head of the Postgraduate Programme.

The CC is responsible for the supervision and the co-ordinated operation of Programme.
The Head of the Postgraduate Programme makes recommendations to the SJC on all matters concerning the JPPS, but decisions lie with the SJC alone. The CC is responsible for the implementation of decisions made by the SJC. The relevant documents carry the signature of the Head of the Programme and bear the following title:

Decisions made by the CC are by majority. In the event of a tie, the Head of the Postgraduate Programme has the casting vote.

Special Joint Committee

The SJC consists of 16 members as follows:
Half of the STP (Scientific Teaching Personnel) of the General Convention of Special Composition (GCSC) of each the participating Schools of Architecture and Agriculture are elected as members of the SJC by the Schools of Architecture and Agriculture (Ministerial Decree Nr. 209730/Z1, OGG 3590 /31.12.2014).

The responsibilities of the SJC are the same as those of the GCSC. Decisions regarding the operation of the Programme, or anything concerning the Programme, are made by the SJC, on the recommendation of the Head of the Postgraduate Programme of Studies, and of the CC.
