The aim of this course is the understanding of some selected theories and methods of behavioral sciences and their use in approaches to landscape focusing on design and synthesis. Secondary, aims of the course are the development of the ability to study and evaluate data critically, familiarization with the stages involved in research, the correct use of research tools and techniques, the incorporation of research into planning, how do the human sciences contribute to the design, management, evaluation and study of the perception and the experiencing of natural or artificial landscapes and gardens.
