Georgios Vlachodimos was born in Thessaloniki, and graduated from the School of Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in 2005.He holds an MSc in the Protection, Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Monuments and is currently a PhD Candidate of the same department and University.
He has been hired as a University Teaching Aid of the Department of Architecture (AUTH) and has been a scientific researcher of the same department since 2005.
He has carried out the completion of Architectural Plans and Blueprints concerning major public and private works and has participated in research programmes of the AUTH, regarding the subject of architectural planning and virtual tours of architectural sites.
He has participated in international conferences and exhibitions, as well as workshops related to Mediterranean Architectural Heritage and is also currently involved in the Imprinting and Denotion of Architectural Sites. His architectural Plans have been presented and published in major journals and periodicals. At the same time, he also works as a freelance Architect, maintaining his own Architectural Firm, while simultaneously taking part in National and International Architectural Competitions.
